Operonn Outreach handles personal data of two different kinds, and they are worth keeping apart: data about the people who use the tool, and data about the leads the tool is used to contact.

1. Data about you, the operator

  • Your @operonn.com email address.
  • Your display name, email signature, and sending preferences.
  • A record of the actions you take: leads edited, messages queued, sent, cancelled, or recalled.

This exists so the tool can attribute work and so Operonn can audit what was sent in its name. Authentication is handled by Supabase. Passwords are stored hashed by Supabase and are never visible to Operonn or to this application.

2. Data about leads

Lead records hold names, job titles, email addresses, phone numbers, employers, and notes about why the lead is worth contacting. Operonn is the data controller for these records. They are processed for the legitimate interest of business-to-business outreach.

Each outbound message is retained with the exact content that was sent, so that what Operonn sent can be established later rather than reconstructed from a template that may since have changed.

3. Mail and mailbox access

Outbound mail is sent over SMTP through Operonn's mail provider. The tool also reads the sending mailbox over IMAP to detect replies and to support recall. Mail credentials are held only in the server environment and are never shown in the interface or sent to the browser.

4. Unsubscribing

Every outbound message carries an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing adds the address to a suppression list, and the system then refuses to send to it. Suppression is permanent unless the recipient asks to be reinstated.

5. Who else sees the data

Supabase hosts the database and authentication, and sends the sign-in links. The mail provider transmits outbound messages. Beyond those two, data is not sold, shared, or used to train anything.

6. Retention

Lead records are kept while the outreach relationship is live. Deleting a lead that has never been mailed erases it. Deleting a lead that has been mailed hides the record but keeps its message history, because that history is a record of correspondence Operonn actually sent. Suppression entries are kept indefinitely, since forgetting them would mean mailing someone who asked not to be mailed.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or erase personal data held about you, and to object to its processing. Requests go to Operonn's operations team and are answered within the period the applicable law allows. Erasure requests from lead contacts are honoured except where a record must be kept to enforce a suppression.

8. Changes

This policy may be updated. The date above records the last change. See also the Terms and Conditions.
